夏磊（韩庚 饰）的母亲因病不幸去世，这使得身为射箭运动员的夏磊的父亲（樊志起 饰）在奥运会预选赛上失利，无缘奥运会。之后，夏磊和父亲开始了相依为命的生活。父亲希望夏磊能够继承自己未尽的理想和事业，但显然夏磊对于射箭这项运动并没有太多的热情。 　　和母亲相依为命的田默默（黄奕 饰）是夏磊青梅竹马的玩伴，她进入了射箭队，成为了老夏的徒弟，而田默默的母亲一直关心和照顾着老夏一家人。夏磊迷上了跳舞，这让老夏感到十分失望，父子两人为此不知道爆发过多少的争吵，彼此之间的距离越来越远。失意的老夏开始向酒精寻求安慰，一个本来就不完整的家庭眼看就要分崩离析。 In 1991, the Korean archer pro Shen Zhong Yin brought his daughters Shen Zhen Yi and Shen Zhen Hui to see the Chinese Olympic Tryouts.
